Former Syracuse football player Josh Altman is leaving his reality TV show after more than a decade.
E! News reports the celebrity real estate agent and his wife Heather Altman announced Thursday that they’re exiting “Million Dollar Listing: Los Angeles” after 13 years on the Bravo television series. Josh and Heather met when he joined season 4 in 2010, eventually marrying and welcoming two children together.
“‘Million Dollar Listing LA’ has been a hell of a ride,” the couple said in a joint Instagram statement. “The memories, friendships, experiences, sales, the highs, the lows and the doors it has opened we will forever be thankful for. NO REGRETS.”
“Thank you all for being part of this incredible journey with our family and business for the past 15 years of our lives. What a blessing to be part of such an amazing show that started an entire genre of television. So many people to thank. And especially all of you that have been with us for the ride. WE LOVE YOU!!!! Time to start a new chapter in life and spend more time with the family.”
Josh Altman didn’t say what they plan to do next, but said they want more family time for their two children, 5-year-old Ace and 7-year-old Lexi.
“We just need extra time to be present with our kids because they’re the most important things,” the statement added.
Altman, 45, was a backup kicker at Syracuse University in the late ‘90s, including on SU legend Donovan McNabb’s team in the 1999 Orange Bowl. Altman appeared on “Million Dollar Listing,” a series about real estate agents selling high-end homes, plus TV shows like “Celebrity Family Feud,” “Real Housewives of Orange County,” and “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”
